Autoplant were recently kindly commissioned by Clopton Village Parish Council to carry out the refurbishment of the Clopton village sign.
This was a local job for the company, merging our haulage services with our paintshop. We took our crane lorry down the road to remove the sign before returning the sign and post to our workshop in Rendlesham.
The sign was unmounted from the post and was taken down to our blast bay to strip all of the paint off the metal. The sign was then taken back to our paintshop where the sign was painted into a variety of bright colours, still keeping to the traditional style of the sign.
The post that held the sign was rotted upon collection, so to keep in fitting with the facelift the sign received, a new oak post will be fitted and repositioned back into the heart of the village.
