An exciting project for Autoplant – this horsebox was brought to our workshop by Sally Lane, whose daughter Allana Clutterbuck competes with team GB.
Due to travelling across Europe, the horsebox needed alterations to bring it in line with current type 2 legislation, transport authorisation for carrying live animals. Internal cameras were fitted along with ventilation and thermometers to ensure the horses’ welfare. Along with general maintenance of the vehicle, a full face-lift of the lights was carried out, updating around the body of the horsebox and including fitting a low light bar. A custom exhaust tail pipe was fabricated in-house.
Our paintshop completed a full prep and respray into the customers chosen colours and fresh decals were fitted, including a custom decal showcasing Allana’s name.
“The truck looks amazing, doesn’t even look like the same truck!
We use our truck to travel and live in at stay-away shows in Europe and at home in England.
I have owned the truck for around 5 years now and it was tatty when I bought it. I never thought I would actually get around to giving it a total face lift and now it’s done it looks like a new truck all thanks to Autoplant and the amazing job they have done. I can’t thank the whole team enough!”
