Autoplant Ltd are based in Suffolk. Established in 2005, the business has built up over the past years, turning Limited in 2011. Working from sites in Rendlesham, Woodbridge and Bucklesham, Ipswich, the core business remains commercial, contract and repairs to HGV/LGV vehicles, plant and machinery. Providing services to a large variety of customers, Autoplant continues to grow from strength to strength.

Michael Green : Director
Michael has been a big part of Autoplant not just as a director but he has always lived by the motto “he would not ask someone to do something that he would not do himself”. With that in mind, he will often be out in his lorry or on site carrying out repairs to customers machinery. With his years of knowledge and determination, he has made Autoplant a recognised name within the industry.
Matthew Pinner : Workshop Foreman
Matt has been with the company for 12 years and since expansion to our Rendlesham Branch, he has continued to keep the site successful in retaining and building its customers base. Matt excels in his determination to diagnose faults and his general planning of works within the branch’s weekly busy schedule.
Philip Hall : Truck & Plant Foreman
Phil joined us towards the end of 2018 and his extensive knowledge of the trailer industry and general work ethic has been a positive addition to an already hardworking and knowledgeable team. He is not afraid to turn his hand to any vehicles and is always aiming to make a job done as quickly and effectively as possible with a touch of perfection along the way.
Andrew Jackets : Technician
When Drew joined the company, he spent time assisting Matthew at our Bucklesham branch. He now works predominantly at our main branch in Rendlesham, but will often attend to repairs on site. Drew has years of knowledge in the truck & trailer industry and is very versatile in being able to carry out any tasks that are assigned to him. He is always willing to share his knowledge with his fellow colleagues, which gives us an all-round expertise when stumbling on a problem which hasn't been faced before.
Thomas Young : Workshop and Site Technician
Tom joined the company last year bringing with him 10 years of experience as a plant fitter. Tom works both in our Rendlesham workshop as well as attending to many call-out repairs across the region. Tom specialises in plant repairs and works as a fully equipped mobile fitter, spend majority of time on site. As one of our younger team members, Tom brings a fresh perspective to the company and we can always rely on him to complete a job to a high standard.
Stephen Rozier: Technician
Steve recently celebrated one year working with us at Autoplant. He trained in HGV mechanics when he left school and now offers a wealth of time-served experience: 40 years’ with heavy goods vehicles. Though Steve’s thoroughly experienced in the heavy goods industry, he will happily apply his wealth of knowledge to any machine type as he specifically enjoys the variety of work that Autoplant. His calm and easy-going attitude is reflected in all of the work that Steve carries out: from his methodical and patient engineering, through to the detailed and highly-presentable paperwork he delivers. Steve is a real credit to our team and we truly enjoy working with him.
Kieren Keen : Workshop Technician
Kieren has been training with the company for 4 years and has gone from learning all aspects of Painting & Prep Work to the Mechanical side of the business. With his artistic flare, he always makes sure he completes every job to the best of his ability.
Aidan Gibbs : Technician
Aidan joined the company in 2019 after carrying out his apprenticeship as a Volvo trained technician. Since joining the company, he has become a keen member of the team and has furthered his skills and knowledge in all aspects of vehicle maintenance. Aidan also frequents as an escort driver, assisting to the safe transport of abnormal loads and heavy plant & agricultural machinery.
Zak Purvis : Workshop Technician
Zak joined the company in April 2021, offering confidence and flexibility to finding a solution with every job that he works on. Zak settled in well immediately and his vibrant character makes him a pleasant addition to the team. We look forward to continuing to work with Zak.
Carl Goddard : Paintshop Foreman
Carl is a very kind and considerate person and endeavours to make every machine that comes into the workshop looking like it has just left the factory. After training to become a more advanced sprayer, Carl takes great satisfaction with an in-house training programme to allow him to teach new staff all aspects of getting a good finish when working with paint.
Jason Mcdade: Paintshop Technician
When Jason joined the company, he brought with him 12 years of experience within paintshop and fabrication as well as 8 years of experience in hydraulics. His commitment and dedication in every job makes him a valuable member of the team.
Alex Tricker : Office and Transport Administrator
We were pleased to welcome Alex back to the company in June 2020. Alex is our transport management CPC holder, which allows us to operate our fleet of HGVs. Alex is also responsible for the day-to-day running and management of the office working alongside our accountant and workshop administrator. Alex’s keen organisation plays a huge part in ensuring the prompt completion of all our services offered, whilst upholding close customer relationships.
Lauren Vince : Workshop Administrator and Marketing Officer
Lauren joined us in February 2021 as a graduate from the University of Suffolk. A large part of her role is to co-ordinate the workshop administration alongside the workshop manager Matthew Pinner, to ensure a smooth running of the workshop. Lauren is responsible for communicating with customers and booking their MOTs, tacho calibrations, routine inspections and maintenance. Lauren also comes with 3 years’ experience working as a freelance graphic designer and turns her hand to the marketing, social media content creation and designing brand assets when required.
Deanna Jackson : Accountant
Deanna recently joined Autoplant in April 2021 and works in our office handling our accounts. Deanna’s daily operations include the production and processing of sales invoices and is the point of contact with all matters regarding finance. Deanna brings a wealth of experience having worked in the agricultural accounting industry for over 30 years.
Mark Peel : HGV Low Loader Driver
We have recently welcomed Mark into the company as a low-loader HGV driver. Mark offers over 30 years’ experience as a HGV driver for a wide range of industries. We look forward to continuing to work with Mark.
